The truth is, nobody knows yet. Pure speculations, even the 5090 and 5080 leaks aren’t confirmed. They are from kopite, a leaker who got many infos wrong. I would wait and see oficial specs before drawing any conclusion.
These leakers again… Spitted out a mess of information and claimed they got everything right because they just said something that happened to be correct once.
600w for a GPU on its own is horrifying. I’d have to get a whole new PSU *just* for that. Thankfully I won’t be upgrading for years to come at this point so maybe Nvidia will get their shit together by, like, 2030? Maybe…

Assuming the how the prices have been in my region, it went from 3080ti to 4070ti that I could realistically afford to now potentially 5060ti something. All while the performance is in the same ballpark, just get AI features as differentiator.
Call it inflation, sales tax, import tax and so on, it just sucks man. Wish my salary also jumped gen on gen, lol.
The gap between the 80 and 90 cards looks bigger than I would expect- would the 90 card normally be twice the ram, Cuda, shaders etc of the 80 card? I was expecting maybe a 40-50% uplift, not double.

Bought 4060 in hope to sell it once 5060 come out and have at least 14-16gb OR hopefully Intel will have some really great card.
But I won’t bother upgrading even it is 12gb, I’m playing 1080p @ 60fps that 4060 is more than enough for me right now.
its nvidia. they will always deliver the bare minimum when it comes to vram in the mid range section. they dont care about gaming anymore.

Nice… Nvidia is still commiting to: “devs will have easier work with RT games” when at the same time they are artificialy slowing down performance of lower end cards so games will never become RT only and devs will have to work more to implement both rester and RT rendering. If these specs are true RTX 5080 will have less than 50% of RTX 5090 cores, in comparision 4080 had 60% of 4090 cores and 3080 had 92% of 3090 cores. If we go by proportion RTX 5080 will have the same % of 5090 cores as 3060 Ti. Good job Nvidia… it looks like another generation with +5% performance all over the board except for super expensive AI card. Hope AMD or/and Intel will push something soon otherwise PC gaming is fully fucked.
