Seriously sony is goin full anti consumer

They literally gave it away for free a few years ago and it was available for cheap for ages.

Your fault if you slept on this for this long lmao

Also, the physical disks are still retailing for 10-20 dollars.

But I know you guys just want to whine.

I mean this is normal right? They advertise a 10 euro upgrade if you have this version. Everyone could buy the game for 20 euros, buy the upgrade for 10 euros and they get a PS5 game. They would lose 20 euros on everyone who has basic brain cells. ANY corporation would do this so why is anyone surprised?

Lot’s of people got this game for free or could have purchased it for 20 euros as it has been that price for multiple years. If someone wants to buy the game now, they are paying for a PS5 game, not a discounted PS4 game.

  6. Very on-brand wouldn’t expect anything else

Sony fan: Haha! Xbox is in the toilet! Yeah! PlayStation rules!!

Sony Executive: The time has come. Execute order 66.

Wow, increasing the digital store front price of a 7 yr old game by a 100% (from $20 to $40), for no other reason other than to offset the $10 upgrade cost of the remaster. This is the first time a digital game has increased in price despite being out for years, aside from possible price adjustments due regional pricing adjustments. Out of print physical games increasing in price as it gets older is one thing, but digital games?!

So instead of costing $30 total for a new player to buy HZD PS4 and then upgrading it, it would actually cost $50, matching the price of just buying the PS5 remaster version directly. At this point, why not just pull out the original PS4 version if they’re pulling off the kind of stunt?

Modern PS typical L. The Concord tax strikes again!

  9. Bold of them thinking that a remaster no one asked for would secretly fill that void Concord left.. Maybe Ghost of Yotei will help? I’m not hearing any controversy with that game at all 👀

How else are they going to offer a 50% off early black Friday digital door buster?

It’s morally right to pirate sony pc port

I’m sure Death Stranding did the same thing when the Director’s Cut happened.

People who bought the original version got access to the upgrade for ~AUD$30, and everyone who decided to buy the Director’s Cut especially on PC had to pay AUD$100

Let’s all get mad at Sony for making business decisions. They should just give us PS5s and games and expect them to accept donations!

So many people are upset with a company. They’re more upset about a company focusing on profits than they are about talking to their family. Grow up lol.

I don’t really mind that in this case tbh because in 2021 sony gave this game for free for everyone who have a playstation even if you didn’t have psplus.

This only affects people with a digital PS5 and have never bought horizon before, is it harsh for them of course it is but they choose the console without a disc drive that would allow them to go out and buy a cheap second hand copy

Oof some fanboys at ps5 sub are doing the most unbelievable mental gymnastics to cope with this BS. Tbh some people just deserve to take corporate’s piss on their face.

The Witcher 3 did the exact same thing. When the next gen update hit the game skyrocketed right back to 60$. Same with Cyberpunk. I don’t see what all the fuss is about.

The saddest part is fanboys will say its not a big deal, imagine defending a billion dollar corporation who doesn’t give a single fuck about you other than your wallet.

It’s very obvious arrogant anti consumer Playstation is back from the early PS3 days, i wish Xbox actually tried to compete because competition only benefits the consumer and Playstation wouldn’t be pulling this shit if the market shares were closer.
