Can someone tldr for me why 3d vcache is good if they perform worse than other performance cores? (As i understand it anyway)
Like, why not give the performance cores vcache. And wheres the 9950x3d in all of this?

As long as this cpu isn’t microcenter exclusive then I will happily buy this cos to replace my current 7600

This makes sense as the 9600X was by far the least impressive of the 9000 series, which is saying something. It didn’t even have a meaningful OOB efficiency improvement, because the 7600X basically never uses its full power limit.
A 9600X3D, if released broadly, should move that otherwise useless silicon very quickly.

if this hits how it SHOULD hit i will be upgrading. been looking at upgrading but considering how it will be a decent re-build with ddr5 etc, gotta be worth it.

All they need is like 3 tiers of cpus for people who game or don’t game, and then one or two maybe hybrid ones on the high end, they don’t need a million little differences in performance between every tier
