You could free up a lot of space with a wall mounted laptop holder. It also seeks like you’re plugging stuff directly into the laptop. A dock would allow you to cable manage a lot easier.

Get the laptop out of there, try and mount it under the desk if possible
get rid of the cables and either make holes in the desk or run them strategically
Get a desk lamp and stop using the room light, or get a monitor lightbar, they’re great
Mount the monitor with a stand or on the wall
Add decoration, fake plants are my favorite but stuff you like
Get a larger black or white mousepad
Get a mechanical keyboard and maybe a smaller keyboard too
Get a theme
Get rid of desktop shortcuts (just hide them)
Get the random stuff of the table
Put light behind you monitor, light strip or small lamp.

Cord management underneath desk. Is there a grommet or maybe behind the desk where the wires can run from. Get a large desk mat instead of having a small mouse pad. Vertical stand for laptop, maybe wall mounted?
