If you are good at the game you can get to legendary with any gun (not the Na 45 I'm afraid) I literally used the Lag for almost all of my games and when people with the BP 50 got too annoying I take out the Oden or the MG42 if I want the dopamine you get when you use that thing. The Oden was rarely my main gun, and the MG42 well… It feels great to use it, but only in certain maps and most of the time I took it out people would start using the BP 50 💀
There is people out here using the BP 50 to get to legendary and still get a K/D of less than 1 😭
The Lag is arguably one of the worst AR in the game and I can still get a K/D of 3.
This is to encourage the few that like using guns because they like the gun and find it enjoyable, you don't have to stop using it for a "Meta gun".
Using the meta guns can only boost your stats if you are already good (not the case with the BP 50 it can make the average joe have at LEAST a K/D of 2 or 1.5). Also I used the Oden mostly to counter the BP 50 since it is one of the major counters, I also used it cause I was grinding camos and the bot lobbies I got after a loss were delightful. 😂😂
This ranked season I took the job of using everything but the BP 50 to show the "want to be good" players that the gun is putting more effort than them.
That's all, keep using the weapons you like and are used to, no need to change your favorite gun for the sake of being "good"
I may sound hypocritical since I have the Oden and MG, and what can I say I like those guns, I was literally using every gun in my loadouts I tried using the M4 and got cooked, tried using the Bison and it was surprisingly decent. Those two guns were the ones I used more often due to the fact that one counters the BP 50 while feeling pretty similar to the Lag but better in every way (the Lag will always have a place in my heart, even after they butchered it 😭), and the MG, bro that gun is pure dopamine every time a shot hits a hitmarker and the kill sound pops up… literally the 🧠🦧 neuron activation type meme

Ok we get it, you’re probably very good at the game. Anyways, I’m going back to using meta weapons because I’m not a movement god and they’re fun to use.
I’m just saying bro not everyone plays this fried ass game 3 hours a day since its release in 2019. For the majority you literally do need to use meta if you want to get past gm. Ontop of that you said when people used bp50 you would take out the Oden which is literally meta and nearly as good as the bpenis50

I don’t use mta guns and just play the guns I like despite loosing the rank game, and to those all that says, you can’t go pass gm without using meta gun is just wrong lol, I have used icr, hvk(without the large caliber), lk, hbr,pdw, hgae40 on gm1 until gm4 and it was fun. Also I ain’t that great since I only use 3 finger 🤌. Anyways y’all should just use the gun you’re comfortable with
I find it boring to use only meta. Got plat for ARs recently: BP50 was the last gun i got gold. So many other fun and perfectly usable options

Mg42 is the most unskilled gun
MG42 was not nerfed enough to not be OP, people who were abusing it last season just switched over to BP50 to play more agressively since camping will get you constantly backgatted or killed by lethals. You still see it in like first win hardpoint when people hold down the hp from the outside. As for oden it is meta but not OP since it has actual downsides that balance it, similar to HVK lc, therMoW, fennec, mac, QQ10, etc. With that being said making lag work outside of bot invites is impressive.
