Hey that’s gonna be me in a few weeks but I’m moving back home (WA -> HI). Shipping my gaming rig/work setup so I’ll just have a shit monitor and work laptop for a few days.

My first apartment is going to seem odd to other people bc I have a $2200 pc, a standard 1440p 165hz 1ms monitor and an ultra wide 1440p 100hz 1ms monitor, I also have all the other stuff, mechanical key board, IEMs, “gaming” chair etc. (all that I bought and built myself besides the chair)
So all I’m going to have is a mattress on the floor with a super kitted out setup.
Hey, get a plastic chair and a cheap desk for time being at the very least.

My first place I was renting with a roommate. When I was in a work camp for a couple months she moved put and emptied the place (it was her stuff) she even took the shower head. My first night home was me on my computer phone tethered to it for internet and buying up a house worth of used stuff.
