He got the number 2 years ago and then ended up becoming my roommate. We wanted to play cod together, but it was impossible to create an account without a unique phone number. His number was apparently in use already…. So we used that to take over the account which had MW2 .
I contacted customer service to change the name on the account since I had bought a few games on sale for us to play. Just can't believe they literally don't care and there is nothing you can do to fix it.

Steam allows duplicate phone numbers.
