As one comment said, there’s a difference between how wide a lore is, and how deep it goes. Some franchises span over galaxies and realms and they mention the fuckin shitcum race from planet ZB2 and their 17 variants, but that isn’t depth. Zombies is, comparatively, a pretty narrow world, but it goes deep.
