I’ll be really honest here… I’ve done both console and PC gaming for a long time now. I understood this argument back in the early 2000s. It was pretty valid. PC gaming had some issues.
It isn’t really the case anymore. PC gaming is, generally speaking, a very stable and reliable experience. Most games will set themselves to match your available hardware when you first load them up. So you’re really only tinkering with graphics options if you want to… you don’t have to. Software glitches happen, but they don’t really happen any less frequently on consoles these days.
At this point, game consoles are just low-mid spec PCs with a proprietary operating system that’s locked to a single online storefront. That’s it. That’s the difference now.
If you want to buy a console to save money on gaming hardware (generally not software), cool. If you want to buy a console because you have a badass TV and sound system and want to blow the walls off your place, cool. If you want to buy a console because you think it’s a more stable and reliable experience than a PC, eh… not so much.

Been gaming on PC since late 90s. Don’t recall PC games having more glitches/bugs than the console games did. Only problems were with ports to PC from consoles. And for the past like 5 years, I’d say consoles actually have way more problems with the “good” games. Only problems on PC gaming was getting game cracks to work =] Right now seeing so much crap coming on BG3 reddit from console players, that it seems it would just be unplayable for me.

Yeah ok. Happens. Sony devs are only humans too.
Someone has perhaps made a similar post about you after an engagement with you.

That’s one’s own fault for thinking consoles are completely issue free.

Lol. People who think consoles are immune to software problems and graphics glitches make me laugh.
