EventPractical9393 2 years ago I got told my 14900K was fake (it was remarked) Intel wouldn’t tell me what that actually meant, just that it infringed on copyright and should never have been sold They also first claimed my Invoice was not legitimate as it was dated to before the CPU was shipped to a distributor, so they changed the story Ended getting a certificate letter from intel which I gave to my retailer who refunded me Just looked into the article and there’s another instance of intel doing this with the whole CPU being remarked IGunClover 2 years ago One is unlucky while the other one is lucky to get a $599 check.
