    I’ll take the check over another faulty CPU any day.

    I took my retailer to small claims court when they would only offer a replacement.

    They caved and gave me a full refund.

    Used the money to buy a 7800x3D and an AM5 board.

    My check is for more than that, I suppose they refunded what I paid for it.

    So everything they should have done since day 1. Hopefully everyone gets replacements or refunds.

    I got told my 14900K was fake (it was remarked)

    Intel wouldn’t tell me what that actually meant, just that it infringed on copyright and should never have been sold

    They also first claimed my Invoice was not legitimate as it was dated to before the CPU was shipped to a distributor, so they changed the story

    Ended getting a certificate letter from intel which I gave to my retailer who refunded me

    Just looked into the article and there’s another instance of intel doing this with the whole CPU being remarked
