I love people ignoring that BO4 also had a different point system under Jason Blundel and that, as well as pretty much every other major gameplay facet being under development and changing since before Kevin was put in charge of the mode, but because of a single tweet where Kevin gave an anecdotal example of why he chose to implement the specific point system he did the entire context shifted from, “here’s why I settled on this system specifically”, to, “here’s why the system changed at all”. It just feels disingenuous for us to paint it like that, I guess is what I’m getting at.
