Are exotics able to be become “human” again after getting their cybernetics?

Sure, why not? Bodysculpt one way, bodysculpt the other!

I would just imagine you’d get to pay another big chunk of change to get fleshsculpted back and cybernetics that required the exotic look would be removed.

What the hell is Armor King doing here?

Your V is so fuuucked, getting exotic work done causes skin cancer in lore I think lol

Idk if cancer in Cyberpunk can be cured though

only if you believe in the essentialist component of virginity restoration surgery. they can replace exo cyberware with a human-looking set and to keep gambling to minimum it’ll probably be metal/realskin.

i mean if you can go full furry there can be a way to go back still

I would assume so. It would require cloning of body parts, but in a time when you can become an exotic or a full-on borg, the reverse should be no issue.

Ignore the triggered snowflakes who keep ignoring that exotics are lore-friendly. Gotta love puritans getting their panties in a twist over body mods.

Yes. Biosculpting tech is quite advanced in the cyberpunk world. Not only could you become “human” again, they could even clone your original parts for you.

Biosculpting is not really explored a lot in the video game. But in the table game it’s a lot more common. There are entire gangs built up around it.

In the exotics mod which is based off the tabletop lore, exotics use genetic engineering combined with cyberware to achieve their appearance.

Much like in the scene in Fingers’ clinic, the snout and facial structure are mostly faceplates, a metal jaw structure styled like an animal’s, that is designed to attach into the cranial mounting points like other faceplates, a lot of the characters you see have entirely synthetic faces, even in vanilla where everyone is human.

In the mod however, they added their own lore about biosculpting, which is essentially a more advanced genetic manipulation that allows them to get the appearance with less surgery and less cybernetic components, which seems to imply that some of the exotics could be “naturally grown” genetically altered facial structures.

That said, I would imagine that if all of that is possible you could go in reverse and be made to look human again, but you would probably need to go for the cyberware faceplate route rather than engineering a mutation back into a human structure.

It’s been a while since I read that mod, but it is a mix of OG cyberpunk ttrpg lore and the mod author’s own lore.
