As unfortunate as it is makes sense, if the investment into a new gaming platform (in this case mobile gaming.) no sense in keeping developers who are specialized in mobile gaming around if you don’t plan on continuing to develop for that platform.

I guess IGN isn’t quite sure what the word “primarily” means

MS as a whole seems to be losing their minds over short term profits. More so than typical, I even read an article they are slacking on their government contracts. At this point I want the CEO out.

I mean yeah, an unfortunate part of reality is that when a product underperforms people get laid off. This is true of any industry.

CoD + mobile. Hard to fathom a worse combination.

To be fair, there was no incentive for players that played COD mobile to play Warzone mobile. Especially if those players had skins and camos unlocked.

If anything they should’ve just upgraded COD mobile, but all they did was make 2 seperate games.

Cod mobile with a Bluetooth controller is actually pretty fun. Closest thing to vintage Cod

  8. It’s the dev behind Warzone mobile and not CoD Mobile (wich is developed by Timy and produced by Tencent).

I feel like people sometimes forget that at the end of the day, like it or not, we live in a capitalistic society. Not making profit has consequences, like layoffs. I don’t understand why it is seen as somehow shocking or morally questionable, it’s just reality. The money for salaries has to come from somewhere.

Ladies and gentleman, your obligatory daily ‘PhILLL SpenEr is BAd’ post has now been fulfilled.
Enjoy the rest of your day. TGIF.

Why is everyone defending Uncle Phil?

Seriously, why are you defending him? He’s had more than enough time to turn things around.

Why is my comment taking a time out before being allowed to upload 😑

Microsoft isn’t cutting jobs from VOD Mobile, a game they don’t develop, but rather the recently released COD Warzone Mobile which has seen player numbers drop off a cliff. I hope those affected can find stability but this seemed like an inevitable conclusion to the poor reception of Warzone Mobile

Can we really put all this on Xbox though?
