So which is that AAA console port from the past 4 years that is even worth to be played again? (aside from maybe Elden Ring) In my opinion, PC gaming is not about enjoying AAA at better quality after spending 2500$, as AAA are 99% pure BS. It’s about having access to all those often smaller titles that are just better played on a pc enviroment, or are exclusively on PC. Luckily, they all run perfect on a well thought-out 600$ build – that can even play AAA at least on par that is seen on consoles, but those games are basically handholding escort mission cutscene-fests.

As an ex 6600 XT user I can tell that family is solid af. RX 6600 non-XT also has nice power, overclock potential, FSR, AMD Frame Gen option to survive more. I upgraded to RTX 4070 cause I needed CUDA for work. If I played games only I’d still have 6600 XT and prefer save more for RX 8000/RTX 5000 series or go for used RX 7700/RTX 4000 series in 2025.

Sadly I don’t have place to put whole pc with monitor.

The only games I’ve played where 8GB of VRAM wasn’t enough, and that’s when I wanted to try and run Space Marines 2 on max settings (which even if I had enough VRAM, it wouldn’t have been able to handle it anyway)
