I know Morgan is the greatest Solo of all that they say V would never be able to defeat Morgan, but i wonder who would win if V has David at his side

V is the only one that beats adam smasher, so he win .

I think the anime does a good job at conveying the line between David and Smasher, or in this case, David and Blackhand: reaching the top isn’t the hardest part, it’s staying up there.
The problem with V is that it doesn’t aesthetically show off all the chrome it has.
Martinez was a gonk that thought a Sandevistan made him a battle god.
V, without the mighty blessings of protagonism would probably have gone cyberpsycho after a few days.
Blackhand is a veteran merc that is (arguably) still alive, even after working as a merc while fully ‘ganic.
Adam Smasher either fought Blackhand to a draw or even maybe lost to varying degrees.
V won against Smasher, while only a few days away from death at best. We should also mention that this Smasher has recieved upgrades, went fully borg (in the lore he had a battlesuit in 2023), and got access to Arasaka funding and tech, in addition to becoming the bodyguard of the new head of the Arasaka corp with all the advantages that brings. He was constantly preparing for a rematch with Blackhand.
So I’d say V beats Blackhand. Not without difficulty, but they beat him.

Honestly the most impressive on this list is probably Morgan Blackhand just because of what I know from what little lore I know of is he barely relies on chrome and probably is the most ganic out of anybody we have seen so far. I love David but he gets stomped pretty hard considering the whole smasher fight so he’d be out in pretty fast. V is probably the only person besides smasher that could actually be a threat to blackhand.
V kills smasher and smasher and Morgan bkackhand seemed to be on equal footing as far as skills go. I’m giving it to V cause they’re half dead and still kill smasher. Obviously people say it’s cause they’re the protagonist but let’s be real V is a threat, a big one. But honestly I hope we’ll see Morgan blackhand in Orion cause I’d love to see him as a ally and not an enemy😁

If we use Adam Smasher as a benchmark, David gets smoked immediately and then it is a Conversation between V and Blackhand that could go either way.
Blackhand stalemated Smasher, V beat him. But when Blackhand fought him, Smasher was in a **”DaiOni”** Dragoon. His 2077 Dragoon pales in comparison to that one.
So it can go either way between the two. David is completly out of the race because he got absolutely shredded by Smasher without even denting his Body one bit.

I get that david’s a fan favorite, but ill never understand how or why such an unfair fight keeps getting brought up. >!David died to smasher. Nuff said!<

David is definitely dead first. All 3 have had a confrontation with Smasher and he is the only one we know to decisively lose. V is able to kill Smasher and we have no clue what went down between Smasher and Blackhand. So it’s either V or Blackhand for me.
Isn’t V like way too OP? At the very least he completed close to 100 jobs, killed a lot of people, defeated Adam smasher in a few days and while being half dead
V beats Blackhand, David gets liquefied in the crossfire.
So David is getting squashed fairly quickly. The real fight is between Morgan and V. Morgan is more skilled, but V is generally more “powerful”

It’s really between V and Blackhand, but one fought Smasher to a stalemate, one killed him. By that alone, V takes it.
Let me give you an idea of V’s talent.
Jackie and V escaped Konpeki Plaza after Saburo’s death.
It’s the equivalent of two miscreants from the hood with a kitchen knife amd a second hand gun picking a fight against the US Marines or any elite military group who is surrounding the building to capture them,and winning.
Jackie is just a strong man who trains himself,and learned to survive the streets,V is your average office guy,or another low life thug,or the average farm boy. And they have shitty gear.
The Elites from Arasaka have top tier training,corpo level gear and numbers.
Yet Jackie and V manage to either sneak past them,or murder everyone who stood in their way.

The problem is V is OP in gameplay so it’s hard to say how powerful V is canonically
The power scaling is different. Edgerunners basically implied anyone fully chromed out is guaranteed to go cyberpsycho. Meanwhile V can have an entire kit of chrome, all max stats and he doesn’t even flinch. Because of the nature of video games, V beat Smasher in the final fight, whereas Smasher zeroed David.
So I guess V is the answer, but only cause he’s the video game Night City Jesus that the others couldn’t be.

as for David, he was already going psycho even before his last gig, maily because he did not scale back his cyberware.
The disease would’ve killed him if not Adam. if he was straight sporting that exterskelton, he might’ve put up much better fight.
and V is not going psycho, at least. so safe to say V is currently the strongest Merc, ever to exist on the world of Cyberounk.

I don’t even know the lore deeply, but I have a hard time imagining anybody being capable of even half of everything V has done. Now V with perma-death, that’s different 🤣
the one who wins here is plot armor…
david becomes a super cyber zangief merc in few weeks, able to solo several militech and arasaka squads at once…
V becomes the ultimate solo from literally nothing in less than 2 months and zeroes adam smasher without sweating..
at the end morgan is the only “realistic” one since he’s the only one able to make his brain work
Blackhand is not alive because he is the best. He is the best because he is alive.
It is an official phrase that shows he is smart and a great strategist who knows when to pick a fight.
V is practically a killing machine.

Don’t put David in the Cyberskeleton, as Smasher show, it’s makes David very vulnerable. It’s very good against groups of weak to moderate enemies, but against a single powerful enemy, it’s detrimental even without counting the massive mental burden it has on the user.

David’s a scrappy punk from santo who could handle cyberware *just* a bit better than the average soldier and got bodied by smasher. So it’d be V vs black hand by the end of the fight with V coming out on top but just barely

My money is on V. We don’t know if Blackhand was capable of stopping Crusher but could evade him. Depending on the player you can kill Smasher with no cyber using your fists
Blackhand all the way he is the top badass in that universe from what I understand. Not just top end tech of course but decades of experience kicking literally everyone’s ass including megacorps.
