When it’s a Legendary, Legacy or Mythic gun and that’s it. Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic only has the purple border on killfeed and that’s pretty much it.

Legendary, legacy, and mythic guns have kill effects(an animation plays when they die) whereas epics, legendaries, legacies, and mythics have broadcast effects (the kill feed has a color added to your kills examples: epics have a purple bar with the shape.of the epic used shown in the kill feed)

Legendary, legacy and mythic rarity weapons have kill effects. See the name of the one on the screen? It’s purple which means it’s an epic blueprint and doesn’t have a kill effect. The ones that do will have a yellow, orange or red name bracket
