People like him know the system works in their favor so that’s why he knows he might get away with he said. People will still continue to work under him whether they like it or not because they need a paycheck to survive and companies will continue to hire people like him as executives.

Man, if this is what the C-suite says about the working class in public, imagine what they say behind closed doors.

Mods if you remove the post on Ubisoft shares nosediving you should remove this too. This guy doesn’t even work at a games company and hasn’t for a long time.

I mean they should be able to go relax on the beach for a year – and maybe if they were paid decently enough compared to the ridiculous figures that various CEO’s who (mostly) know nothing about the games they develop earn, then maybe they’d be able to go and do that.

He thinks people who made his fortune are disposable slaves. Very wealthy people think this way.

I’m sure they’d love to go to a beach for a year. If only the game’s industry didn’t rake all the profits into the executives and investors instead of paying the talent and you know- not laying them off after the project finishes.
If they kept folks around, game development would likely be faster given folks know eachother, know how to work with eachother and can get a process going. But, nah. Just make it as inefficient as possible, boot it out the door before it’s finished and repeat.

Again executives out of touch with reality…

This guy hasn’t worked at Sony for over 20 years. Why are IGN ignoring all the other industry positions he’s held since?
“He went on to take two other positions at Sony serving as president of [Sony Computer Entertainment Europe](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_Computer_Entertainment_Europe) from 1995 to 2005″
Why are we even reporting this lol
