Part of me misses the gestures because you can interact with the other players. The emotes are cool, but they’re silent and it puts you at risk in a fast pace mode like Zombies.

What I find annoying in BO6 (in the beta, so maybe this will change) is that you have to access the emote menu to inspect weapon; whereas in previous games there was a direct bind for inspecting your weapon.
Otherwise I thought the emote menu was well done overall.
