When I think of the sheer amount of time my friend and I poured into this game when I was a teenager… taking out the game disc and putting in a CD of Strike Anywhere, Voodoo Glow Skulls or Suicide Machines to play on the car radio.

It was the first game I played in the series, so I got major nostalgia goggles for it. Idk about it being the most gloomy and brooding in the series, but I think it’s iconic for getting GTA to grow into what it is today.

I felt like the atmosphere always matched with that one song they made on the radio fade away by Craig grey lol. Forgot what station it’s on though
