After almost 20 years I figured out how to connect 3 PS2s and enable Multi-Monitor mode in Gran Turismo 4!

That game as I invested hours, you’re going to get more hours with all that equipment.

Damn, that’s some next-level dedication. 20 years to crack it? Props for not giving up. Bet that setup looks sick in action. Old school gaming at its finest.

Could you share how you did it? I’d love to try this. Is it like a proprietary cord?

Edit: Jesus just looked it up and it takes 3 PS2 consoles. Saw an old forum post about someone trying it at a games expo in 2004/5, it was connected to a gyro car type thing on stage that people could get into the seat of. I’m guessing it was a mode that was made for showcases and expos as a cool demo display and they probably left the mode in for fun

  4. I was thinking of playing gt4 on my simulator, I wonder if you can do this with emulators across three monitors?
    Cool stuff

Give it another 20 years and you will discover vr 😉

What resolution does each monitor put out? Is it overall better running with each console only needing to rending part of the frame?
