I'm just gonna use it to store my games, it's the second cheapest one i found after a wd blue that i forgot the exact model of and it's always out of stock, any help is appreciated 👍
Yep. Brand is solid and well reviewed as far as I can tell. No red flags are jumping out at me.

id probably go with an actual SSD myself instead of just a box with a picture of one

You’re mostly good for that type of use as game storage.
What I learned with having a ssd without dram cache is. It’s fine 99% of the time as long as you dont want to download to it and play games off it at the same time, it slows to below hdd levels if you’re trying to do that. If you’re good with that compromise to how much cheaper it is, go for it. If not, go for one with dedicated dram storage

adata have record of giving golden samples to reviewers later even using different controller in same model without any announcements.
look into techpowerup website also techtester bought few ssd to compare and found very large difference. she didn’t talked deeply about the controller which has been stated in tpu website.

here they state two different controllers were used.
op I’ll suggest looking into kc3000 or Renegade fury both from Kingston decently priced ssd.
benchmarks look shit. what price and where are you buying it from?
It has an anime girl on it so yes
