As consumers, we really should insist on bifurcation support and put our m.2 drives on stand-up cards. I thought that putting the storage on the motherboard was going to be an advantage; how wrong I was! I want that hardware where I can get to it, thanks!
(And then, if it turns out you’d rather have an HBA or faster NIC instead of more storage, you have that choice, instead of having to use questionable risers…)
