It’s a mini event where the Tyger Claws are trying to kill a VIP. I don’t remember the back story but some Claws do drop shards that fill you in on the particulars.

New event added with 2.0, Tygers attacked someone that had TT platinum and they ambushed them.
If you manage to eliminate the tygers without shooting or killing the TT guys, you’ll receive a text message later thanking you for the help (not sure if they send money).

added with phantom liberty. if you carefully kill the tygers without harming any trauma team or accidentally turning them hostile, you apparently get a reward from trauma team. i need to find this before the end of my current playthrough.
