I just have to remember I’ve been paid an ungodly amount of money to write shit that wasn’t terrible and not flip my lid. Not just her headline but her ‘Tarnished then praised’ shit. Like, URGH NEVERMIND.

Because you clicked it. That means it worked.

So many times I’ve clicked an article about cyberpunk and it talked about mods or something unrelated 🫤 it sucks to get your hopes up just for them to shatter them because they need people to read their dumb article

Wonder if they used the exact same article name for the Edgerunners expansion to the Red TTRPG.

Why? Because it works. They dont care if you like the article or not… they want you to see all the ads that make up 90% of their income.
Add to that the twitter headline culture where ppl will go berserk because they read a headline but didnt bother to read the article and you have a recipe for a disaster… and free money

I thought for a second that this was about the multiplayer mod that’s being worked on.

By bringing attention to it via places like this you are making it worse. You are now complicit to their schemes. Just ignore it.

One day I won’t click on *actual* Cyberpunk 2077 video game news because of shit like this

Shoulda said “multi-player” it’d be funnier. Like, there are multiple players, were not lying lmao.

It’s gamingbible, virtually all their website traffic is due to clickbaits.
No original content, or genuine journalism. All they do at their office is create click bait or literally false titles and copy paste either someone else’s content or content they already have written in the paste (which was again stripped from other sources)
Now I have simply unfollowed them from all social media handles and blocked their domain so as to not get their articles either through discovery or any gaming related searches.
