It appears to have never been used. The accessory box is unopened and the wires are still bundled.

I used to have that case. Loved CoolerMaster for a long time.

  2. Eh, if it were a Chieftec Dragon I would have gone for it, that case holds a special place in my heart. This case I’ve never seen before so I likely would have left it, even for $35.

I have a similar case from that era of Cooler Master. They are absolute tanks.

  4. She’s a beaut’! But it’ll need some thermal modifications if it’s gonna be a sleeper.

That’s a blast from the past! I believe that’s also the same case of Maximum PC 2003?

Its aluminum, you can drill airflow holes and screw tap to add more fans. Very machineable.

Now if it only showed your mhz on the front with leds like an 80s alarm clock…..then! Lol

Cooler Master wave master, circa 2001-2004ish. I still have my old one in black. Gorgeous case, all aluminum

Nice find. Not ideal for today’s hardware lol. Zero airflow hahah

  11. Man that case brings back memories. One of my first purchases as an adult was this case. Still looks great.

Cooler master makes awesome looking and functional cases. This case is no different.

Love it. Need more photos! Seems you can turn it into a fairly decent sleeper.

Get a better fan, potentially cut a hexagon in the side pannel and mount a fan there.

I have the exact same case, bought it years ago. The tray is removable. Easy to build in, but has terrible air flow.

I remember buying a Lian Li PC65 at CompUSA for $200 in 2002…which is a lot more now.

It was such a nice case, and nice cases were not really a thing yet anywhere.

It looks cool and all, but sadly cases for 20 years ago are probably not suitable for modern hardware because of the lack of airflow. It would be very difficult to keep modern hardware cooled properly in that case.

Gonna be WARM in that case

  19. I had the same PC. It was beautiful. When the GPU died I gave it to a friend. I got a brand new Dell with a steel case. Lol.

  20. MilezOrpheon

Very interesting find. I would’ve taken it too lol

I had one of those, loved the aluminum front face.
Wasn’t the most space efficient case I’ve had, but looked cool when I got it lol

I still have that case. Not in use, but too cool to throw away. When you open up the door I had the cool performance gauges as well.
