I feel like this could have been more than doable seeing as how the assets are already in the game. It could have even been tied to El Cap seeing as how he actually has chop shops all over Night City. Unlocking new parts to get your favorite vehicle badlands-ready could have been an extra bonus for continuing to do those car pick up missions outside of just discounts on auto fixer.

    I’ve always agreed that’s something that really could’ve added to the game’s experience. I mean even giving us the option to choose the vehicle color scheme at purchase would’ve been nice. I really hope this is something that gets addressed in the sequel
