the prophecy has been fulfilled! our holy savior, concord!

The Concord players must be devastated. All seven of them.

It’s crazy to see this. I’m sure most of us at least assumed it was going to be f2p but going offline?! Crazy how this is a Sony First Party game that flopped like this.

I don’t understand, what’s all this about?

worst game of the 2024 nominee

the day before was a scam, not a game

Finally! The day before 2!

I wonder if Amazon will also pull the Concord episode that probably cost a few million to make or just let it air?
Honestly had no idea this exists until it died and was memed.

Why are so many people talking about this game? I don’t care about any of the other shit games that came out on steam this week so why all the attention on this one?
Never even heard about it until reddit started shitting on it for some reason, I heard it was a hero shooter and couldn’t be bothered to look any further into it because that sounds dumb.

As awful as Concord was, let’s at least be fair here.
Concord was an actual game with competent gunplay, made by a AAA studio, it was just bland and overpriced in an over-saturated industry with giants like Overwatch already taking up all the oxygen in the room.
The Day Before was a literal scam, made by a shady indie studio. There was never an actual game behind it, just pretty tech demos acting as a facade to reel people in. They then cut and run with the money right after launch.

Hold up, Concord already released? I legit thought all the negative press was around trailers for how little I was hearing about it. Damn.

I’m getting tired of all the hero shooters. I think too many companies tried to capitalize on Overwatch and Valorant’s success. Making 40 games that are basically the same thing. People are going to play the one they want. I think its a genra that does not leave much room for competition. Even less room for a boring 2/10 shooter to put on a shelf. And now, we cant even just have it, its leaving.
The day before was way worse in my opinion. Concord was a game at least. Least.

Babylons Fall, The Day Before, Concord… I wonder which game is next.

That very first trailer I saw of “The Day Before” actually look good to me.
Unreal Engine 5 and all that jazz.
Turns out to be too good to be true.

Whatever will the Concord player do?
ficktiff
The day before still had more players than concord with less time and as obvious scam… Pretty sure Sony let it until 6th September just to not beat the 4days record
-Accident-Prone-
As far as being tremendous failures, they have nothing in common. The Day Before was a certified scam. Concord is just a generic game with a 40$ entry fee with nothing separating it from others in the genre. But it was a “well” made game unlike The Day Before.
CANYUXEL
Concord is simply bad. TDB is a straight out unplayable scam.

I remember seeing videos for The Day Before in like 2015-16ish and being really pumped for it. I wouldn’t even had known it was out if it wasn’t for everyone saying it was some kind of scam the whole time!
