Songbird spent the entire DLC saying that she was with you and that the two of you would be saved so that in the end one of the most shocking moments of the DLC would happen, she ends up betraying you.
I just arrived at the point where you have to choose for the first time. I chose Songbird even though I know full well she’s hiding something, because her stakes feel more personal than Reed’s, and I (as V) can obviously empathize with someone trying to survive against all odds.

Songbird. No foresight, we know that Songbird is lying, and we know Reed is loyal to NUSA to a fault. No reason to believe that Militech-NUSA will use the rare McGuffin to save us but there’s hope that Songbird has the compassion (when not cornered) to try to save us in anyway she can (after her obviously incoming betrayal).
MadameDecay
Neither path is ‘right’ or ‘wrong’. Also no one is ‘good’ in this expansion. So whichever path one takes is just a choice. Siding with one over the other doesn’t make you better or worse.

Do I need to point out that Songbird was literally enslaved by Myers and forced to do whatever she wanted, including messing with the Blackwall? If you were in her situation, wouldn’t you do everything in your power to get away from Myers? So she lied to us, so what? I’d have done the same thing.
Kalaaleq93
Quite easy decision: Shoot Reed. He’s too loyal to NUSA despite everything.
kvacm
If I could, I would kill Myers personaly and freed them both.

There is no best choice. That’s the general rule for all of Cyberpunk. Every choice has downsides. There are no happy endings. Personally I just do multiple play-throughs and choose differently each time, just to see the various outcomes.
Yegosha
moon, so mi, go
Large-Wheel-4181
Sadly I have to side with Reed, it’s not an easy one but knowing the dangers of AI in cyberpunk I wouldn’t take the chance with Songbird
DROPDDROPD99
I would say So Mi is the correct choice.
VisibleFun9999
Reed crossed the line. He chose to put himself in the grave.
DedicatedDetective34
If I have the power to bail someone out, I’d do it in a heartbeat. I already failed with Evelyn, so So Mi feels like my redemption arc. I also feel like Johnny got some sort of closure, knowing that he was part of a “rescue” mission gone right this time.
mecha_monk
I was truly shocked by how quickly everything flipped when siding with Reed. It doesn’t feel good at all, the entire thing made me feel that siding with songbird was the better choice. Siding with Reed however shows how broken they all were. More so than when you sided with Songbird. They all have been screwed over by the NUSA.
Ok_Camp_2588
Reed no doubt about it, songbird just uses you for her own benefits and keeps lying to you up until the end
Duny0
she doesn’t betray you, she gives you the option to save her or save yourself, her guilt over not telling Reed that he was walking into trap on the train took over, V besides Reed that actually cared for her, she wasn’t about to do the same to V, yes she misled you but the outcome is still the same
LieNecessary7352
I chose too betrey song because it’s more fun and u get the leader of Dogtowns weapons
Emotional_Relative15
in the moment, side with songbird. In hindsight, side with reed and then kill her.
My ultimate wish is for her safety and freedom, but no matter what option you go with she’ll never really get that. At least thats the assumption with mr B being involved in her escape to the moon. So the most humane option for her is just to end it, and she realises that herself during reeds path.
Original-Captain9705
Song bird is my first choice
SpiridonBuncek
What choice? Songbird who manipulated you from minute one?
No, no, team Reed forever!!!
BluesyPompanno
I prefer So Mi, but I will side with Reed, because my main goal is survival

Kill Myers, fuck reed, marry songbird.

CyberInTheMembrane
Easiest decision in the game.
Can’t imagine what kind of person would play a game called Cyberpunk for 80 hours just to end up siding with the fucking cops lmao
Few_Performer_6630
I betrayed songbird right at the end cus she betrayed me, fuck dat bitch 😤
JackieBoiiiiii
There is no correct decisions in Cyberpunk. Only what decision feels best for you
libertinaV
I finished all endings, helping Songbird is the only “good” one for me.

I feel like at this point we’re pretty much asking this same question at least twice a day.
