Also if you don’t want to play triple A games you can definitely game on Mac. I play games like Factorio, EU4, Binding of Isaac, and 60 Seconds on mine.

Honestly if Apple really wanted to, they could easily make MacBooks great for gaming.
Make it easier for developers to transition their games onto MacOS and make the actual MacBooks themselves more optimized for gaming and I think it’d run great. Not all games, but the M3 pro and M3 Max chips are amazing, they could probably run a lot of games with decent performance.

I ran a MacBook Pro 13 i5 with a Mantiz eGPU 5700xt for a while as wasn’t sure at the time if I wanted to get back into PC gaming. Single cable for the GPU, monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, mic, power delivery. Was a bit buggy and mostly held back by the i5 with crap cooling, but maybe the M series chips would fair better idk

I made it work for awhile with my 2014 i7 MacBook Pro my school made me buy at the time. Thankful for Windows bootcamp and a model with a GTX 750ti. It was better than nothing.
