Was playing in Livik just now, unlocked the underwater place in Forsaken Ruins but when I swam down I wasn't able to open it after lighting the pillars, am I doing it wrong? This wasn't the first time it happened. But after I swam back up, apparently I got trapped inside and just couldn't get out? Am I supposed to do something or is this some kind of glitch?

Possibility 1: You didn’t actually unlock the ruins from outside the entrance
Possibility 2: If you did unlock the ruins, you didn’t actually light up all of the pillars. There’s usually a pillar hidden in grass on the left or right. (Bonus hint: you can actually see how many pillars are remaining by looking above the big door, there should be 6 blue lights shining)
For the getting trapped part, you can only open the water gate from the outside, you most likely went through the second door and not the one you came in from
