I had never heard of this game before stories of it’s poor release/player count. Did they advertise it at all?

I’d give it a shot if it was Free2Play.
But I imagine that’s a few months away. It will probably get thrown into September or October’s Humble Choice (I’m guessing). Then a few months later, they’ll look at Free2Play. I’m sure they’re already prepping the switch over.
Deadlock beta opening up significantly around when this game came out is just so funny to me. It goes to show that the problem isn’t just “another hero shooter” it’s a quality problem. AND Deadlock is seemingly gonna be free.

First shooter I’ve enjoyed in like 5 years. Too bad it flopped. I’m part of why it did. Wasn’t risking my $40 with all the negativity. Even the subreddit is tiny. For a Sony game that shouldn’t happen.
Concord is just Overwatch for people who use Tumblr.
