Hideaki Itsuno (Dragon’s Dogma, Devil May Cry) leaves Capcom after 30 years

  1. 30 years at Capcom (!) and he leaves after a successful Dragon’s Dogma II, with the chin up.

I’m not the biggest DMC/Dragon’s Dogma fan but millions are, so all but respect for him.

Like he said, he’s working on a new game starting September, quite curious to see with which publisher/team.

We Salute you Sir for all your amazing work!

From what I understand, he likely left capcom because of the MASSIVE creative restraint they put on him. Especially after devil may cry 3. All of his games shirt that haven’t turned out how he’s wanted them.
