About damn time. Consumers shouldn’t be fleeced on “Rentals” hidden within Subscriptions and be left with a faulty game when the rug pulls out from them.

But do gamers want to be protected ?

they better start campaigning harder, seems like this initiative completely dissapeared past that few days when it was a hot topic

Will this even do much ? From my understanding if it happens it doesn’t change anything for games already made, and according to the article “If publishers make clear from the start that their games won’t be available anymore when online support ends, there’s little buyers can do.” So basically most games will just end up making it clear. And the ones that don’t is the only thing that something can happen to? Idk maybe I’m missing the point. but to me it seems like it not going to stop what it’s trying to do .all it’s doing is basically saying to put a “warning” type thing. it’s not stopping games from being pulled?
