Even though Machine Games has made some of the best modern first person shooters, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle isn’t really an FPS. So what is it exactly? Well Mike’s seen the game in action and reckons it’s about 7 different games. Watch on to find out exactly what Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is all about.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle comes out on release date December 9th, or on December 6th for those with early access.

  1. The clicking!! D: The clicking of that hideous heart!! Or clock? But that clicking! head asplodes

  2. I am indeed a PS5 owner, and I watch for you guys. It doesn't matter at all if it's a game I can or will play. 💚💜

  3. You know, I'm surprised its a first-person game. Being a puzzle game was a very obvious (and good) call, but I actually pictured a 3D puzzle platformer when they first announced it. Either one I'd be okay with though.

  4. I think it’s being lost in all the other noise, the Great Circle is any circle that circumnavigates the earth and also passes through the core of the earth. So, this will be a globe trotting adventure where the ultimate bad guy plan is to do something to the core of the earth (with a magical item, of course)

  5. 12:45 Indiana Jones was often disguising himself to sneak into places. Every movie. Classic scenes, too. Getting into the submarine base he knocked out a Nazzi and the uniform didn't fit and he was discovered by an officer who started berating him for being dressed so sloppy only to have Indy knock him out and get a uniform that fit better. Sneaking into the dig site disguised as a laborer with the staff to find the site of the Ark. Throwing the Nazzi off the Hindenburg dressed as a porter. "No ticket." He did it a lot.

  6. Indy being like “if you plot all these points on a globe it makes a CIRCLE” is giving Indiana Jones and the Antisemitic Conspiracy Theory.

  7. Dear Editor, please, please, please never use that horrific clicky music bed ever again. Thank-you, sincerely, someone with tinnitus that doesn't play nice with discordent clicking noises when trying to listen to people talk.

  8. Mike wanting to "Raw Dog" the puzzles is right in line with his brand of "stealth" aka throw a grenade and hoping for the best.

  9. Yo, whats with the slander to ancient civilizations my guy. They built a lot of impressive stuff. 😅

  10. I just wish it wasn't 1st person, I just think it doesn't benefit from that much. Looks like Myst with guns tho, and I love that haha.

  11. A scene from a Indiana Jones movie that I find amusing is from Raiders of the Lost Ark. In one scene, Indy is confronted by a swordsman and instead of fighting shoots him instead. Harrison Ford was originally supposed to have a fight scene with the swordsman, but he wasn't feeling well enough to actually do the scene so he improvised by shooting the character and Steven Spielberg liked it enough to add it to the movie.

  12. So a puzzle/shooter/brawler/stealth open world with an XP system AKA a triple A game. Does it have crafting and a card minigame too ?
At least the social stealth is less frequently used and thematic. Indy is not a one-man army, he's just bad at stealth like a certain Oxbox racing game enjoyer…

  13. This video makes me more hopeful, I was expecting it will be more like first person shooter with some Indiana Jones elements, but it sounds like it's other way around. Sounds much better than what I expected.

  14. Are you guys okay, blink once randomly if the publisher has hired Nazi goons to get a moderately positive review

  15. I am totally baffled by the design choice to make a game like this first person only. It seems badly unsuited to a visually iconic character who’s famously about platforming-style adventuring.

  16. I really want this thing to be good but "its a lot of things" tends to be an approach to oftentimes doesnt work out too well. Hope I'm wrong.

  17. I can finally watch you guy's channel at night without getting flash banged by the white background thank y'all for the very welcome change.
