Liberty falls doesn’t even feel like a zombies map, the vibe is off cuz it’s in a fucking broad day light

probably unpopular opinion: the people upset about the reveals are right and those people back then were also right. the farther zombies can manage to go back, the better.

My issue is not the fact the map is more grounded, Im actually glad as, although I liked the more fantastical side of bo3 and 4, I really felt like we needed to dial back and focus on the stars of the mode, the zombies themselves.
My issue with Liberty Falls is that theres no vibes, like at all. The people complaining about the map being in day act like it being at night would suddenly make it not feel like warzone. Those people are stupid, I agree. Im okay, and actually glad with a daytime map, we need more of them. The issue is that Liberty Falls has literally nothing to it. Its just a grey city with a teeny bit of fire and bodies around. Any atmospheric choices they do make feel like they were thrown together in a day because “oh shit we gotta make it look like zombies”.
Imagine Tranzit if it took place in broad daylight instead of the fog. That map would still be eerie, if not moreso, because its this bright and pretty city thats rusted and abandoned with this creepy random robot bus roaming around. I get the chills just thinking of it. Liberty Falls just has…nothing. I think some of the warzone feeling that Im noticing not many are talking about it is just how stupidly fast paced the game is. I like fast paced games, but holy fuck dude, we need to slow it down a bit. It feels like some crackhead MLG sweatfest pvp game (huh, kinda like Warzone).
Just my opinion. The TLDR is that Liberty Falls has potential, but its so minimalistic looking. Also, as others say, people have differing opinions. Before you call be a bo3 dicksucker, I didnt really like bo3 all that much either. Just letting that be known before the assumptions that I think bo3 is best zombies begin

This just proves that these maps like Gorod and SOE were treated harshly but the community came around eventually. Cold War has been out for so many years now and I don’t think we see anyone saying that Die Machine aged like fine wine and is top 3 map of all time. Yes the community had always been doomers but that doesn’t mean we are always wrong. We were wrong with BO3 and we’re right with Cold War. Now we wait to see if we are right or not with Liberty Falls and the fact that it looks worse that even the cold war maps imo is pretty telling on how Liberty falls will be remembered.
