Lesson is make a game that people want to play/buy. don’t make a game that you want to play/buy… if the two coincide fantastic, if not then default to the former…

Concord is hovering between 100-200 active players according to Steam Charts, what an utter embarrassment for Sony.

Live service games with no unique factor aren’t going to sell well
Who cares about weekly shorts about the characters?

I’m just going to bite the bullet and say what everyone with a brain is thinking but too afraid of reddit consensus to say:
Don’t try to shove your bullshit political agenda down your customer’s throats.
When every single fucking character is some quirky non-binary, sexually “different” or of some “minority”, it starts to look really forced and tacky. When all you do is concentrate on these superficial qualities to try to forcibly send a message instead of writing actual characters and an actual story, people will vote with their wallets. People are fed up of this shit. And no, it doesn’t make us bigots.

First, most of the sales are in China. It costs 40$ there (in equivalent)
Second, it’s popular mainly because of China and it’s, basically, national novel. Concord is based on nothing.
Third, Concord started when Overwatch came out. Back then lots of similar games were created.
Fourth, 700 sold is based on what? It was also released on PS. I mean, yeah, it’s a flop, but Data is out of their ass. Aswell as 15 mill for Wukong (last time it was 10 million from devs, nothing else).
Fifth, Concord had absolutely no marketing. Like literally. It just appeared on E3 (kinda), one twitt back then and then it releases. Wukong is based on a novel (the story and pacing is actually bad there, it’s just that you don’t play for the story).
Idk what else.
Oh, yeah. OP is a karma farmer. Boring and dumb.

I swear Wukong has been in development for way longer than 4 years, likewise I doubt it was made by 30 people.
