I swear this was everyone’s favorite game for a minute

15 years Jesus I still go back to it every so often and enjoy it.

One of the best games ever, I stayed up nights in a row to play this.

15 years, wow it’s been that long? I remember being addicted to the demo that came before it.

My favourite game from series, that dark atmosphere is unmatched. I have replayed the game arpund 8 months ago and it aged imo very well.

So many hours put in as a Teen perfecting the Riddler Challenges on this game, made sure to be at least top 10 on every one.

Going to the drawing board on the fastest stealth “MaDe Me FeEl like Batman”.

I remember being jealous at how Joker was PS exclusive.

Rip Kevin Conroy, Batman just won’t be the same to me

15 years later and the aslume is only getting more crowded.

I’ll never forget how scared I was when Scarecrow jonkled my PlayStation.

Is there a lore reason Jonkler told Man he needs new shoes? Is he stupid?

Did he ever get his new shoes after leaving the Alsume?

  9. I’ll never forget getting up early and running to Future Shop because they had it for $29.99 release day! What a masterpiece.

I really loved how Batman’s outfit accumulated various damages throughout the game. By the end, you could definitely tell he’d been through a hard time.

I’m playing this for the first time in 2024 😃
Love it. The fighting combos, take downs, dialogues 💯

I just beat this game a couple days ago. Can’t wait to start Arkham City now!!!

Asylum is my favorite by far. Tight, linear game with select villains.

    City was still pretty good.

Knight I stopped playing about 2-3hrs in because there are far too many villains, the open city is too meandering, and I personally hate everything to do with the bat mobile and fighting constant tiny tanks. If it were me I would’ve made a game with far fewer but more impactful villains, it would’ve been much more linear, and I would use the bat mobile for only 1 small linear section. One other thing I didn’t like were all the skills and the skill tree, it all just felt largely useless and daunting

I just bought it on Steam for my son to play. I hope he enjoys it.

Hopefully the VR ARKHAM game Batman Arkham Shadow can live up to or even surpass this game.

The devs tried to make it as similar to Arkham Asylum as they could. Looks like an amazing translation so far. Both VR and non VR early reports are saying it’s pretty damn good an an amazing game. And that the Arkham combat has been wonderfully translated to VR.

  17. 15 years, I can hardly believe it has been that long.
