Spends $1k on gpu, cant afford $99 case to accommodate the hardware, get bent and cries, curse the gpu for being too big. Vicious cycle i tell ya.

Case manufacturers hate this one simple trick…

Better than having to spring for a bigger case. If it works, it works.

Can afford a 4080 Super and not a proper case?

No-one said that!
A mid-tower is something like the Corsair 4000D or Lian Li Lancool series. I’ve had a honking great Quadro RTX A5000 in my Lancool II. It’d fit any modern PCIe video card.
As we get smaller, like the O11D, these are mini-towers.
A full tower is rarely seen today. The Thermaltake CTE T500, for example. It can fit a 360mm AIO *on the rear panel*, or the Thermaltake Core P8, a slightly older model.

Honestly, I prefer this to “I attacked my case with tin snips to fit the card”
At least all you have to do it flatten the metal back out after to reverse this well enough.

Y’all MFers need Jesus. And tin snips.

$1000 graphics card, yes; $60 case that can fit it, no.
