The shot of Shadow looking down at Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles in the city looks straight out of the Shadow the Hedgehog game

Really best viewed on a CRT for the motion clarity and to properly see those waterfalls.

That first horrible trailer for the first film is still so fresh in my memory; it’s like it premiered yesterday. Did anyone look at those teeth for the first time and think that we would be looking at this glorious trailer now?

Who’d they get to voice Shadow

Jim Carry about to carry an entire Sonic movie for the third time in a row. You absolutely love to see it.

Looks like they’re taking a lot of story beats from Sonic Adventure 2, as expected. I’m so hyped for this movie.

    Actually looks pretty sick

I do feel like I just saw the whole movie though

  7. Does the previous ones really worth watching? *Honest question*

Imagine if we get Dark Sonic vs Shadow fight?

I hope it’s better than the second. Loved the first but the second was TOO kiddy to be enjoyed by my grown ass, whereas the first had a little something for everyone. (Yes, am aware these are kids movies, but many are made to be enjoyed by a wider audience).

And that awful wedding side story, oof.

    So let me guess

They actually killed Shadow’s dog and now he’s out for revenge..

Some sharp looking CG. Here i am, a 40yo man in 2024 and actually excited for a Sonic movie

I could have sworn I remember Jim Carrey saying he was retiring after the second movie. And I remember being really disappointed in that because we got some genuinely peak Jim Carrey for the first time in a couple decades with the first Sonic movie.

I didn’t love the movie itself, but Jim Carrey’s performance was pretty great.
