The only gun that always has a slot is Guts. It’s the first gun I get after Watson opens up, and it never leaves slot 3 after that. My other utility gun is the Kyubi XMOD with a big scope, silencer, a big mag mod and a ready steady. It’s not fancy or exciting, but it’s quiet, has great range and does tons of damage. I also keep Yinglong around for raw DPS. Nothing I’ve used will kill sturdy enemies faster. Combined with the SMG perks, it’s pretty nasty.

I’m a huge fan of the sor-22. It never gets mentioned in these threads and I know it’s not even close to the most effective/powerful firearm in the game, but I adore the sound and feel of it. I play it often when it isn’t even the best choice. Loud, semi auto, low zoom rifles are my favorite guns in any game.

For me it’s the base tier 5++ Militech Ticon with Wallpuncher & something like Parallax or some other mod.
Wallpuncher (iconic PL tech weapon mod) means it completely ignores armor & gets charged to 200%.
The bolt shot on the Ticon has a very comfortable window to fire.
It one-shots almost everything.

I used arasakas Liberty through my entire first play through. It probably isn’t the best but upgrading it the whole way through the game and it being something I jacked during the gig made it feel special. I would rock Jackie’s pistols but it would feel sac religious to put silencers on them.
