Last month I posted a picture of my battlestation covered in paint due to negligence on my part.
Well, Corsair reached out to me unprompted and sent me a bunch of replacement gear to bail me out of my own stupidity!
This will probably seem like a shill post, and to some extent it is, but not because Corsair asked me to post it. I just can’t believe a company would send $400 worth of products and ask for nothing in return, so I’m happy to do a little shilling on my own!

Meanwhile, me, someone who has been buying Logitech products since the 90s has all their most recent stuff acting up. And what does Logitech do when I reach out? They say “tough shit, we don’t make quality stuff anymore.”
Good on Corsair. Hopefully you finished painting though.
That’s a MASSIVE “we are happy to support our users!” from Corsair.
alright got it, drop paint and post it.

Shoutout to u/CorsairAstrapi for putting this all together!
I genuinely thought you were a scammer at first, but I’m very glad you weren’t!
Am I weird for thinking the paint mousepad is sick
Honestly that’s awesome I seen the post and thought to myself “damn that really must of suck” recently had my own pc problems and just trying to get everything figured out and all that was super stressful glad to see that it was all fixed.
” ask for nothing in return”
Lol
Good on them! That makes me want to buy Corsair products now if that’s the type of service they have.
Just like how I’ll be an AT&T customer for life as long as they have service in my area. Called them one day to diagnose an internet issue. That was fixed on the call. 2 weeks later I get a call from them saying “the last time you called our rep noticed you were paying g $15 more than you should be. We’re so sorry that occurred. We are going to credit your account $600 to make up for the overpayments and extra as an apology.” They did that unprovoked. Great service and I got like 10 months of ‘free’ internet from that.
I like corsair, I always have. Their stuff is expensive, yes, but it’s quality stuff. I just wish their software was better.
PR stunt
Bruh I thought you made a “paint spill” themed build and I was really impressed
Corsair has actually been the goat for like the last 20 years. I can’t really think of anything they’ve done wrong in a world of housefires, shady RMA practices and then straight up selling defective CPUs after knowing they are defective.
🥰 Corsair
good pr for the company , manage to salvage anything at all with ipa?
The keyboard and mouse couldn’t be cleaned?
Corsair did what?!!!!

It was a spooky ghost!!
you know the company called SHURE who make professional industry standard microphones right? few years ago they sent me a brand new SM58 vocal mic and an artist pack of little trinkets and accessories, all cus they liked the fact i always tagged them in the pictures of me singing into their mics with my old band on tour doing gigs and shit whenever i posted them on the instagram, its kinda surprising sometimes how nice the PR people of big companies can be at times! ALWAYS worth a quick check of your inbox just in case a company reaches out to you if you post shit with their products often! had a fair few free t-shirts this way too, obviously beware of scams tho!
You dumbest dumbo that ever dumbed
“Paint”
Pretty rare to see a a company that actually cares about their costumers.
Well done Corsair.
Time to buy some more corsair stuff
Yet they wouldn’t respond to me when I bought a refurbed keyboard from their website.. and the keys won’t stay in. I type and the literally fucking keys fly out. It’s like something out of a comedy movie.
That case is massive lol
This is the kind of good marketing that works.
and you can’t say they didn’t have their logo in the post, because it was clearly on the box.
I know they did it for the publicity but I’m willing to look at a company better when they do something like this. I might be more inclined to buy their products in the future too.
