Might be an old news to some, but in 2024, Xenia Canary can run Red Dead Redemption in 60+ fps if you have moderate cpu+gpu combination. Since there is no comfirmed date of whether or when this masterpiece will be released on pc, it is an excellent way to experience this gem of a game if you don't own a console.
Played flawless 26+ hours, no crashes. Runs amazingly.
1080P internal resolution.
55-60+ fps always.

My specs :
Ryzen R7 5700x
Asus TUF B550m WIFI II
16 GB DDR4
Radeon 6700XT 12GB
Corsair RM750e Gold Modular
Samsung QLED 1080p 144hz Monitor
PowerA Advantage XBox controller

Here are some screenshots.

If you put a modern lighting system on that game, it would pass as a brand new release. Ridiculous.

Just use the PS3 emulator rpcps, you can port this and red dead revolver to it through roms on the myrient rom site. It’s the shit

What version are you playing? I dumped my switch version

  4. AgathormX

Honest to god opinion: emulate the switch version.
Ryujinx and Yuzu (if you can find a good fork) are ridiculously well optimized

I wish the crackdown 2 rom would run this good

  7. I’m curious if they’re going to finally fix the disappearing zombie heads in the undead nightmare dlc lol

I have a 5600g and GTX 1660super and it runs great on my system. I don’t like the controls for this game though and I also despise the auto aim. I would enjoy it way more with mouse and keyboard.

  9. I can’t even get the game to run anymore, tried playing the other day and I keep crashing and getting some error, and no I don’t use mods, never have, never will, game has just been installed normally on my pc ran fine before, took a break for awhile tried playing it the other day and can’t get it to launch *didn’t realize this was talking about red dead redemption, I was refering to number 2*
