I've redrawn the circles in a clean way in an attempt to extract some data to get us started.
You can see my process in the images, I've discarded the elliptical orbits and a couple other "noise" orbits, then separated and straightened them out to be able to count the 'planets'.
There is potential here as four of them come out as 4-bit strings, which could maybe be used in a hypercube transformation/ coordinates. But the last two are 6-bit so not really sure. I also don't know what we'd be transforming anyway.
I also wanted to note that the SoE scraps artwork has four sets of coordinates, for the four maps as we've known, but the suns are drawn exactly the same style as the KN44 blueprint. And, they are not in a conventional sequence (reading direction or clockwise), which leads me to think that might inform the order in which these orbital diagrams should be sequenced.
Anyway I've hit a wall now and not sure if any of this is the right direction. Let's see what tomorrow brings!
