So I plan on still using my ps5 to game but I want to use this beast to actually stream from if that makes sense. How would I go about that? I still need an SSD (any recommendations pls) I feel like I probably need a second monitor a friend said something about an hdmi splitter. I’m not super techy tbh but any advice and help would be greatly appreciated. Ideally – I want to game on my ps5 and monitor/stream from the pc ya know not game & stream from pc because I’m comfortable on my PS.

Have a look at elgato capture cards as hardware. The Card takes one pci-e slot and you connect it as follows:
ps5 to capture card input and then capture card output to your monitor. It’s like a man in the middle capturing the image for using on your pc.
If OBS (Open Broadcasting Software) is still the latest sh*t and there is nothing better on the market, use it for streaming and set the input device to your capture card.
I had been streaming years ago and OBS was the best back then.

Don’t forget to install all necessary drivers!

You can get an HDMI splitter pretty cheap. You may need one with HDCP pass through.

You’ll need a capture card, but it doesn’t look like you have room for one inside the PC. You can get a USB one though.

you would want a capture card, and a hdmi switcher

    Just in case

    r/obs

    r/streaming

    r/eposvox

Get an elgato HD60X, and a Samsung 870 EVO SSD and you’ll be good to go. No need for a splitter or anything

I mean 1070 is a decent GPU but 3060 will do you wonders if you have the PSU to support it, try getting at least 16 GB of ram and a 2tb ssd.
