My grandpa used to watch me play this, and whenever I’d hit a weak spot and the black blood spurted out, he’d shout “WE GOT OIL!!”

I remember cheesing the games physics and you can get to the colossi without doing the set piece events

I have hit a serious gaming dip again. Maybe me too should go back to an old favorite. Gonna set up the ps2 tomorrow I think

What I would give for a proper modern pc port

Every friend I showed this game to ended up asking to watch me play instead. It’s so cinematic, but parts are quite boring and tedious.

Hell yeah, one of my all time favorites.

One of my first and all time fav single player games.

One of the greatest games of all time, and a personal favourite.
Used to sit with my dad as a little kid and watch him play it and cheer up for him, and as I got older I started to play it on my own with a bit of his help.
I’ll forever love this game.

This game is so great. I remember buying it for the first time when I was like 20 years old, having no idea what to expect. I was just drawn to that badass cover and just felt this must be a great game. And I was right. It doesn’t get much more badass than climbing up giant mythical creatures and defeating them with a small sword. The eighth Colossus — Kuromori (Lizard creature) was my favorite to fight and beat, and the last Colossus was dark, terryfying and exciting to beat. But not the hardest.

If you’re a fan of this game and haven’t played it I recommend Ico, the studios first game. I have always preferred it to Shadow, though I did play Ico first. I also preferred the game they made after, The last guardian.

Anything still happening with “the forgotten lands” project. Fans wanted to include the 8 bosses that got removed. I assume it’s not happening anymore
