Yikes. Time to disassemble a power supply when no one is looking. While it’s plugged in.

I like these connectors and the fact that they’re separated so I can not have the power led connectors plugged in as I let my pc run nearly every night to encode movies and shows for my jellyfin server and I like not having lights bothering me.

Btw guys my only crime was downloading RAM (it was pirated)

I had to hire a surgeon to install mine back in the day.

Rather these than the 10 individual pin plugs. Try to see what’s written on the next one, pull em all back off

I absolutely hate these fucking things. How are they not better at this point? Forgot to put some of mine back in after changing my motherboard and it was so annoying and fiddly

As soon as I touch these, I swear my eye sight and finger dexterity becomes that of a drunken Hellen Keller

Look at mobo manual. Find order. Tape connectors in order. Plug in.

Just tape them together, much easier.

It could’ve been worse. Plugging in the leads for laptop WiFi cards is, for me, always a pain

When *news s teenager, I had a friend who his parents would buy him everything, so he bought a bunch of expensive PC parts to build a computer.
I remember that one day he asked to visit him, obviously to rub it in my face, because I didn’t have money to buy a computer. He couldn’t install several things but it was “running”, and some of the cables were left out. I don’t remember how he powered on the computer but it was running without those, an internal test button.
I was kind of impressed with the amount of money he expended, so I turned off the computer, read the manual for 5 seconds and connected those cables, suddenly the USB port, and power button were working. It wasn’t that hard.
Last time I saw him he was trying to sell me that computer for a little more of what he expended….. Like 2 or 3 years later….. No thanks. I ended up buying a cheap Toshiba laptop for the time being.

I’d rather them than the 24 pin motherboard or the USB 3 cable
