So I think while Panam initially doesn’t trust you and has to sort her stuff out with the Aldecaldos … that’s very fitting of a nomad in her situation. Then, she very much does anything and everything she can for V , even if it’s fem V from a friends perspective, and it seems she extends that nomad family love to V.
There would be a lot more people here if The Tower didn’t exist… but I wonder how much of that is that V was in a coma OR did the NUSA/Militech kind of keep V isolated or tell people to fuck off on purpose? If you’re Myers and you’ve seen what V can do and what V knows, you do not want V at their prime with all the implants running around because they are a smaller (? V can bring down Arasaka and did rescue Songbird after all…?) version of having Songbird be “free” in that they can and will work against the NUSA if they have to and that V is super powerful in universe by the time the game ends.
The names on that list are definitely Vic, misty, Judy, Panam, and Johnny. And for about 3/4 of the game Johnny would flip flop back and forth it seemed but towards the end of it all( all base game endings and PL endings) Johnny absolutely cared about V a lot

All i know is I owed Vic 20,000+ Eddies and he never once harassed me for them. Didn’t call or threaten me.
I have literally killed 100s of people for fixers and destroyed countless lives and the take was significantly less on many occasions than what I owed him.
Vic’s love for you as a person is clear to see and I would take on all of night city just to make sure he is safe!

Anyone who volunteers to come with V to storm ‘Saka tower genuinely cares for them (or Johnny, in the case of Rogue).
I almost feel like Johnny comes to love V in the end, even if it’s just a non-romantic love. He genuinely cares what happens to them in the end and is willing to let them choose their fate.

I feel like kere and river care about V too just in most endings river and V’s romance is a second thought (especially in the sun where their romance should be best) and I feel like kere cares throughout all the endings that are good for him. Even in the phantom liberty ending, he wants to be there for V but physically can’t cause of his concert
It’s vic. Johnny didn’t have a choice when it came to being good to V because he was stuck with V. Panam is also a debatable choice because she is a bit selfish when it comes to her decisions , willing to leave everything and everyone behind if she sees an opportunity for betterment. I don’t blame her for that but that’s just how she is as a person. She’s left the aldecaldos one too many times. And one of the endings was convincing V to run away from all the problems.
The only person who was truly selfless and truly TRULY cared about V was victor vector. Wanted to see V become their own thing. Didn’t care if they paid back the eddies for the kiroshis and in the cyberpunk economy 21000 eddies isn’t small change either. Every instance or interaction that V has ever had with vic , he was always there for them. Hell , even during the boxing finals he showed up and helped V win. When Takemura brought a half dead V to his doorstep he didn’t flinch once and stabilised them without asking for anything in return.
I think I can safely say this on everyone’s behalf. If anything happened to vic , not one person in this subreddit wouldnt be ready to burn night city to the ground.

I bet this is frequently said on here, but damn! I just finished my first playthrough (going in blind) and the end of the main storyline came out of nowhere for me. I was gearing up for some more corpo intrigue then BOOM! All of a sudden I’m sitting the roof making irrevocable decisions with my brain buddy.

I’m pretty sure if you go for the dog town ending where you get rid of Johnny and live, panam leaves and dosent answer because she thought you abandoned her, in the dog town live ending, Vic is still there and when you tell him you can have cyberwear he instantly want to see to prove that you still can

I’d say Vik and Misty, considering the other can end up hating you depending on your choices, whereas those two stick with you if you’re good or an arsehole
