Nah some companies never do. Look at HTC, they were the Pixel of their time, much better build quality, newer technologies, sleek designs and they’re pretty much gone because they couldn’t market and lost the market to an emerging Samsung.

meh, I never pay attention to the marketing. Performance / dollar nobody else is even close.
Can I get a check AMD?

Zen 5 was a super chance to transform Intel into the underdog. But no, they failed. Bunch of losers.

I’ve seen the show. I don’t get what this is supposed to mean.

So far AMD’s only successful marketing is the x3D chips.

You might have the captions backwards.

I thought they were advanced marketing devices??

Lisa should nuke the marketing team, they might end up with more sales without them lmfao
imaginary_num6er
You know if Intel is cutting 35% of their marketing budget, maybe AMD might not need that much marketing either

AMD Marketing team should be fired. Start fresh.

AMD marketing is (along with their toxic fanboys) the reason I don’t buy anything from them. And boy I would love to have a 7800x3D.

Intel seems to be handling all of AMD’s marketing at the moment. They’re doing an exceptional job by all accounts.

Hey, for what it’s worth op It’s actually a relatively funny meme but I think you’re kind of 20 years too late on it.
Yeah, I get it I was born in the eighties too…

As someone who has worked at numerous large companies, this is NOT just an AMD issue. Every company that is publicly traded lets marketing drag their c-suites around by the family jewels. Multiple companies I’ve worked for have let sales and marketing dictate product development and it has turned into a ***show by not focusing on making a quality product. You rein in marketing and sales pull, and most of this crap goes away. But that impacts sales which impacts, quarterly results, which impacts the market value and we can’t have that.

I remember a time when AMD make one or two good CPU series, everyone kept those CPU for a while they were very good.
Then AMD screwed things up for a good many years most kept their AMD CPU that were good during this time and when AMD released the good CPU after many years they upgraded.
It seems they are at that spot again. While Intel will take it’s thunder for a while this is Intel time, the Ultra chip surpasses AMD but they gotta be careful or they too can screw up. Right now CPU upgrades seem to be extremely cautious for many.

Maybe I’m showing my age with this one…
They don’t need to learn.
Nah man you gotta explain
