  1. Yeah but who is going to insure that crazy thing?

    I LOVE this building

Walking past it feels so cool

I’m a teacher and we went past it on a school trip and all the kids were amazed

Iirc it’s part of an architectural movement where they put the usual things on the interior (elevators, AC ducts, structural supports) on the outside

    Cyberpunk is an aesthetic

As much as every comment section here insists it has to relate to the ideological roots of the concept, sometimes the image itself projects that ideology

Here’s a megacorp doing something different and *exposing* their usually concealed inner workings, and their complex, inhuman, maniacal/mechanical nature, in a visual way

100% cyberpunk and really cool architecture

And very close to there is where they filmed Diagonally in HP

That looks like a space station with a lot of escape pods

Idk why but it reminds me of Robocop

Any night shots of this building? I’m having a hell of a time figuring out its layout. Very interesting building.

edit: Ignore this. I didn’t realize it was an album that showed interior and exterior shots along with a night shot. Thanks!

fun fact! those escalators are where a scene in Hackers (1995) was shot! I love the slightly visible innards, they feel very much in line with the “tech with transparent plastic shells” of the 90s

I believe they used this as a location in Watch Dogs Legion game.
