Yeah…no. With judy it’s one of the worsr characters. Childish, whiny and they think the world revolves around them.
I feel like she wasn’t that well written. She was always whining like a child, yet wanted to be a leader. Then, with the “impulses” thing, she didn’t show herself to be that impulsive up until that point. She was very intentional about not hooking up in the cabin, then all of a sudden said she can’t control her impulses?

But holy fuck she has BY FAR the worst dialogue in this game. So fucking corny that it kept completely taking me out of the game during the final act.

Well written? She does nothing but get angry towards people she doesn’t agree with. She’s got the personality traits of an angsty teenager, not a 30 year old woman. Though, her anger is sometimes justified. Being mad at Saul because he’s gonna get the Aldecaldos murdered or used by the Corps makes sense.
It just feels like the only emotion she conveys outside of “Being friend/lover to the main character” is anger.
I never romance women in these games. I was set on kerry before I even met him but as soon as I met panam I just had to romance her lol. She is soooo genuinely human.

the only part I didn’t like about her was killing that AV pilot, he wasn’t some evil corporate goon, he was an average Joe working his 9 to 5

Really? I felt like she had such a weird and stilted way of speaking. Never using contractions. She felt very…written. Like I could see the actor reading the lines from a page. It didn’t feel organic at all. Not knocking the actor, I just don’t think she was well written. It seemed surprising, because every single other character felt very natural.
Her dialogue in the >!suicide!< ending broke me. I lost my best friend the same way and spent a lot of months angry like Panam was but deep down I felt like Judy does with that ending.
That writing particularly really nailed the “I’m so fucking broken and depressed but I’ll pretend it’s anger” emotion.

Dont really enjoy any of the love interests….Johnny and goro i would consider the best written in the game.
Panam has one mode: Rebellion. She has little nuance.

I want a sequel years later in the setting with another protagonist, where this is the cannon ending to 2077 and V and Panam canonically had children that you can meet as npc’s in the next game
As far as I’m concerned, this is the canon ending.

2 – Panam
3 – Judy
No she’s not that great. I hate her personality in game.
Honestly, I felt the game really opens up once you finally start unlocking the romance options. Even if you don’t romance them, the way they move the plot forward with texts, missions, then little pauses felt really organic. And helps give a nice excuse to bounce around doing other stuff in between which feels kind of like how you’d actually live your life.
Ehhhh, idk. A lot of her dialogue is very corny. Especially if you’re trying to get with her
I thought she was fine, but still preferred Judy. I see a lot of blame thrown around that both use you for their own gain, however that’s not a fair comparison as you mostly need to help Panam because you are forced to by your health problems, while helping Judy is totally optional after Evelyn dies and she even takes you on very sweet date. Also Panam asks so childish in the Tower ending, ghosting you completely without giving you any chance to explain yourself.
I think realistically, even though Panam is hot, I think she would be insufferable to date and be around. I know it’s a character flaw but she’s way too emotionally volatile if she doesn’t agree with you. It just feels like a recipe for a toxic relationship.
Panam is the only romance option who is worth it to me tbh.
